As much as I have a soft spot for the Thompson Hotel (serious good times), SGC NYC definitely parties all over the untrodden intersection of the girly-preppy and freaking-badass tightropes for their SS11 collection. And I love it.
Almost as much as the overall fresh/raw/whip-ma-hair take on basics and Richard Haines' fantastic onset sketches. I love the muted colour palette, as a change from the Summer frivolities of Sydney, and the inoffensive details - cue giant leather cross.
