Today was a run-around-Sydney crazy day, kicked along by the ridiculous humidity and a good number of inspirational people and events. A highlight was the launch of GIDEON Shoes, brainchild of the fun and bubbly Rupert and Matt Noffs. The label's emphasis on fair trade and no-sweatshop policy is something I support as much as what the Ted Noffs Foundation stands for, and it's fantastic to see originality alongside ethics and charity, too - mainly in the form of cane toad hide and eye-pop colours.
It was so nice to see some familiar faces and meet new ones over (om nom nom) lunch conjured by Chef Matty Bee, and a huge congratulations to Rupert and Matt for getting GIDEON off the ground flying in style!
Earlier in the day, I did a dance around Amy Kaehne's beautiful pop-up store in Paddington, and in the afternoon, I contemplated life over pineapple juice/espresso with the talented Facehunter, Yvan Rodic. But more on those later :)
P.S. I love you all with your smiley comments on my formal photos :)
P.P.S. Don't forget about entering the $100 Westfield Gift Card Giveaway!!! You'll be set for Christmas :)
*love*
