As a vintage seller, I'm often dazzled by the "special" clothes - the cocktail dresses, the evening gowns, the tailored suits. But I also delight in the everyday dresses - the simple cotton and rayon numbers worn around the house or out to play, worn to class or to the movies, worn to run errands or to meet friends. These pictures are all from 1949.Wouldn't a dress like this be nice for a change instead of jeans and a t-shirt? Instead of cargo pants and a tank top? Here are a few from the same time period newly listed at Couture Allure. Click the pictures to see details!
