This is pretty much what I was wearing last night (to a Disney cruise as Jane from Tarzan...) and I decided to repeat it today when I went for a roam looking for anything that happened to be open on Good Friday. I'm madly in love with the colour and texture of this velvet peacoat. It lends itself to every situation - perhaps, even, as an icebreaker. A ridiculous number of randoms have come up and started stroking the sleeves.
This hat was an amazing $19 score at the markets yesterday afternoon after I'd submitted my last assessment. I did try and get it down to $15, but alas. Still good though ;) I appreciate the healthy cross between safari, floppy felt and bowler that's happening: it definitely won't be leaving my head any time soon!
